I am a seasoned HR and Labor Relations professional with extensive experience in Europe and Asia and a passion for talent management, coaching, teaching, labor relations, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion.
My learning agility, curiosity and adaptability have led me into various tactical and strategic roles across multiple industries – transportation and logistics, commercial finance, environmental industries and the public sector – from operations, to sales, to HRBP, to Labor Relations, to teaching and now freelancing, I’ve done it all and always focused on people and connection.
As an experienced negotiator in the field of labour relations, I have concluded numerous collective labour agreements. In addition, I previously represented my employer as a member of the Board of Directors of the employers' federation and of the joint subcommittee.
I hold a Master of Arts in Linguistics and Literature, a Master of Science in Management and a Master after Master in Social Law from the VUB, as well as a postgraduate degree in Human Resources Management from EHSAL Management School in Brussels. I am also a trained Six Sigma Green Belt.
My love for languages allows me to express myself fluently in Dutch, French, English and German.
In the most important role of my life I am the proud mother of 2 beautiful sons, and therefore I love to spend my free time with them walking in nature or exploring new cities, culinary experiences, theme parks and art & science museums.
The best part of my previous roles has always been when I can work one-on-one with people and make a difference to them. But that impact has been limited in the corporate world. My strongest desire has always been to work with and for people. That’s why after many years in the corporate world I made the decision to follow my own path and touch people’s lives every day…
